Copy #979 of 1426 deluxe numbered copies SIGNED by the author on the 
facsimile page of the D-Day Order to send the troops to storm the 
beaches of Normandy, which begins: "You are about to embark upon the 
Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes 
of the world are upon you." Very light fraying to spine tips; usual 
rubbing of the black background on the spine. Very Good or better, 
lacking the slipcase. 		$4,000.00
