Detailed information on handling Civil War-era artillery, based on
Patten's contemporary artillery manual and supplemented with Switlik's
modern observations. Excellent resource for reenactors. The present work
reproduces Patten's manual, including the illustrations, in facsimile.
Appendices include information on the North-South Skirmish Association.
Second edition, limited to 1,000 copies. Bound in red cloth over boards with
gilt-stamped spine and upper board titles. Prior owner name and Confederate
flag stamp on front and rear free endpapers, flag stamped in ink on front
cover and rear pastedown. Some slight extremity wear. Clean and sound
overall, nice copy....... $100.00
