Kemp's classic work on selecting, inspecting, and building a yacht
along with detailed instruction on seamanship and sailing in open yachts,
steam yachts, ice boats, and much more. This edition was published in two
volumes: the first being the main text volume illustrated with engravings
and the second being a volume of 124 folding plates. The present book is the
first volume only. See TOY #2152; MORRIS & HOWLAND p. 76. Bound in royal
blue cloth over boards with black endpapers, spine titled in gilt. Rubs to
edges of boards, fraying of .25" along head and heel of spine, some evidence
of old dampstaining at top 1.5" of lower board. Hinges sound....... $350.00
