We offer for your consideration;
HARDY BROTHERS (ALNWICK) LTD HOLIDAY GREETING. Alnwick England: Hardy Bros., 1939. Octavo. Cardstock illustrated greeting. “May happiness, prosperity, and the best of good sport be yours during the year 1939”. At center top is a black and white line drawing of Charles Cotton’s “Piscatoribus Sacrum 1674” on the River Dove. Attached are three trout flies, one still with snelling intact. Hardy is the manufacturer of high quality fishing reels. Somewhat bittersweet, in the fact that sport would take a back seat to the beginning of WWII in 1939. Very good. Top right corner 1/8" loss. $50.00

Terms of Sale: STPS until purchase commitment received. NET 30 to those known to us & in good standing; CWO otherwise. Reciprocal trade terms. Returnable. Vermont sales tax applies to orders shipped within the state, unless valid resale certificate on file/provided. Visa/MC/Amex,
Best to call to reserve.
