the "Apologia" (ff.126-132) which is not in all copies. Indices. Title 
printed in red & black, with a large elaborate woodcut printer's device. First 3 
leaves with an old oval blindstamp of the Theological Institute of 
Connecticut. BOUND WITH: Matteachi, Angelo. ...COMMENTARIA IN TITULUM DE OFFICIO EIUS 
CUI MAND. EST IURISDICT... Accessere Petri Mattheacii... Interpretationes in 
Eosdem Titulos... Summariis et Indice Locupletissimis Adornatum. Venice: 
Apud Altobellum Salicatium. 1592. (36),374pp. Woodcut printer's device on 
title. Both works bound together in cont. vellum, gilt decorated spine with 
brown calf label. Some light soiling and 1" chips at head & foot of spine. Old 
paper library label at foot of spine.     $1,500.00 (trade discount allowed)
The first work by Matteacci (1536-1600) is Adams M-893. The second work is 
not in Adams and there are no records of it in OCLC.
