Rear f.e.p. loose, chipping to e.p. edges.  Red and black ink title pages. Six raised bands, gilt decorations, title panel missing, Vol. I to black leather panel, with gilt decorations.  Hinges cracked through, boards attached by three (of five) binding cords, fragile, text block solid.
