Duodecimo, [vi], 321 pages, black & white plates. Near fine, No dust jacket.
      Classic western tale of a girl and red stallion named Wildfire. First 
printing of the first edition with correct Harper code (LQ) on copyright 
page. Illustrated by Frank Tenney Johnson. Bound in maroon cloth over boards 
with gilt stamped spine and upper board, tissue-guarded frontispiece. Minor 
extremity wear, browning to textblock edges, spine gilt somewhat darkened. 
Binding straight and sound. Two photographs of a World War I soldier and a 
vintage postcard (unused) are laid in....... $75.00
