[REAGAN, Ronald]. FIRST LADY. A PORTRAIT OF NANCY REAGAN. New York: St.
Martin's Press, (1986). First Edition. Compiled from the NBC News White
Paper reported by White House correspondent Chris Wallace. Illustrated
with numerous photographs including a color photo of the Reagans on the
dustwrapper. SIGNED by the late president and dated 3 June 1994 on the
red front free endpaper. Below his signature is the SIGNATURE of Nancy
Reagan with the sentiment "Best Wishes" on a piece of paper that has
been neatly pasted in and can be easily removed if so desired. Books
genuinely signed by Ronald Reagan have become quite scarce and usually
turn up with a signed bookplate rather than actually signed in the book,
as the case here. The great majority of "signed" Ronald Reagan books
offered on ebay are forgeries. Fine in price-clipped, Near Fine
dustwrapper. $2,000.00
