nineteenth-century half leather binding with blue marbled plates. 
Gilt impressions on spine
Uniformly brownished with light waterstains
Fragment collection introduced as works of Greek writers and Roman, 
in reality falsified of Giovanni Nanni. Beroso was a Babylonian 
priest under Alexander the Big.
The first edition was published in Rome in 1498 withouth the last two 
chapiters here present.
