BOURJAILY, Vance. ARCHIVE of 3 AUTOGRAPHED LETTERS SIGNED (ALSs), 1
TYPED MANUSCRIPT SIGNED (TMS), and 3 TYPED LETTERS SIGNED (TLSs). .
Interesting collection of letters from the 1970s to a bookseller mostly
about his own books. Examples: "Thanks for the information about THE
GIRL IN THE ABSTRACT BED. It may be the Schneebaum silk screens they
like rather than the Bourjaily text." There is much discussion about his
book, THE UNNATURAL ENEMY, of which he owned or could buy 3000 copies,
and turning 1000 of those into a signed limited edition. Included is a
SIGNED TYPED MANUSCRIPT mock-up of the limitation page. In another
letter he asks about the value of an old book he has giving a rather
elaborate description of it. Very Good to Near Fine, with two envelopes.
         $500.00
