(8),442pp. Copper engraved title and 9 copper engraved plates, each with 
descriptive text. Finely gilt tooled straight grained black morocco with the 
coat-of-arms of the Marquis de Morante on both covers. A.e.g. Some rubbing of 
hinges and extremities of tips.     $450.00 (trade discount allowed)
The Marquis de Morante was "the most eminent bibliophile that Spain has 
produced," with a library of over 120,000 volumes. He died in 1868 from the 
effects of a fall amongst his books.
