works bound in one. This issue with PARADISE REGAIN'D and SAMSON AGONISTES. 
Engraved portrait frontispiece and 12 full-page engravings, one for each 
book of PARADISE LOST. Attractively bound in 20th century half black morocco, 
gilt. An old repaired tear to the title page (barely noticeable). Some 
occasional light soiling. A very large copy measuring 370mm x 230mm, with the 
grape cluster watermark.     $5,000.00 (trade discount allowed)
One of the great English illustrated books of the 17th century. This is the 
first illustrated edition and the first folio edition of PARADISE LOST, as 
well as the first subscription edition. Our issue, with the addition of 
PARADISE REGAIN'D and SAMSON AGONISTES is the most desirable. Wing M2148.
