of Antonio de Guzman, Marques de Ayamonte on the title-page and final
leaf. Cont. vellum, a bit soiled and with some worming of the front
cover. Fore-edge of title with a paper repair (no loss), and with minor
worming in the coat-of-arms. $1,000.00 (trade discount allowed)
The preliminary matter includes poems by Seville poets Juan de Mal Lara
and Fernando de Herrera. A very popular Tuscan-Castilian dictionary. By
1622 it had gone through 12 editions. Palau 47000. Not in Adams.
