8vo. xxxii,112pp. Copper engraved frontispiece. Orig. full calf, minor
rubbing.  Quite nice.   $450.00 (trade discount allowed)
The scarce first ed.; supposedly from a manuscript obtained from the
Grand Lama of Tibet, but actually written by the bookseller, Robert
Dodsley (1703-1764). It was a publishing tour de force that went
through almost 200 printings by the end of the 18th century.
