Eusebius' major apologetic treatise, the "Preparation of the Gospels,"
in which he endeavors to show that the philosophy and religion of the
Hebrews is more ancient and richer in content than Greco-Roman paganism
and exercises a more powerful influence on human life. This Italian
translation is the work of Michele Tramezzino, the printer of the
volume, who includes a 2-page dedication to Lucretia Borgia. BMC STC
