Offered today a handy little artist's book, makes an excellent gift!

KING, Ronald.  Alphabeta Concertina.  Guilford, Surrey: Circle Press, 1984.  6 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches.  [56] pp.  Title page, copyright page, and colophon printed in red, each opening is a capital letter cut into the paper at the inner fold get to the end and turn the book over and go from the rear to the front and view the second half of the alphabet; text un-marked.  Printed boards, the entire book can unfold or read one opening at a time; occasional foxing to the edges, mild soiling to the covers.  Comes in a small two-part acetate slip case; the case is toned and cracked on the lower tray, but still in tact.  Very Good

LIMITED EDITION of 1,000 copies.  Second Printing  26 capital letters cut and creased onto Heritage Book paper and glued to Heritage Museum boards, which are both acid free stocks.  Designed and constructed by Ronald King.  Ronald King's double-sided concertina alphabet books is artwork in book format, a typographical experiment and feat of paper engineering.  The book utilizes delightful pop-up techniques in tribute and meditation on the alphabet.
