The frontispiece is a woodcut of the Church and adjacent buildings in Honolulu.  (Famous missionary to Hawaii, pastor of the Seamen's Bethel Church, Chaplain of the Honolulu American Seamen's Friend Society, & editor of the monthly newspaper, "The Friend."  This is the true first American edition, not the 1869 edition which is sometimes wrongfully described as such.)
