hand-colored, titled, "Tamberlan, mort en 1405." Woodcut device on

The first edition. The frontispiece in this copy is apparently added
(not called for). The story of Tamerlane (1336-1405) the founder of the
Second Mongol Empire, and conqueror of Central Asia. Graesse VI, p. 220.
