TITLE: "The Church Plate of Oxfordshire"

Published at Oxford by the Alden Press in 1928.

DISCUSSION: The Diocese of Oxford is the largest rural diocese in England,
with 650 parishes; the County of Oxford holds 286 churches, all of which
are included here in a study which took 8 years to complete. Evans was the
author of a number of studies of English church plate.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 7.5”x10”, xxxiii + 223 pages, plus 31 black &
white plates; publisher’s blue cloth with gilt titles and emblems.

CONDITION NOTES: The covers are a bit dusty and a little rubbed; endpapers
a bit browned, else in good, clean condition.

PRICE: $112.50 net.
