VASARI, Giorgio. LIVES OF THE MOST EMINENT PAINTERS. Verona: Limited 
Editions Club, 1966. Two small folio (8-1/2" x 11-1/2") volumes in 
original brown buckram in grey printed dustwrappers. With 32 color 
reproductions tipped in and numerous woodcut portraits of the artists, 
most of which are reproductions of the woodcuts Giorgio Vasari executed 
for the 1568 edition and with five portraits executed by Fritz Kredel 
for the present edition. Copy #134 of 1500 copies printed at the 
Stamperia Valdonega, Verona, and SIGNED by the printer and designer 
Giovanni Mardersteig. Slight darkening and spotting to the spines of the 
dustwrappers, as usual, with a small repaired tear to one dustwrapper. 
Fine in Near Fine dustwrappers and a Fine marbled-paper slipcase.
