Congress by Eugene Higgins; The British Driven From Boston, 1776 by
Allen Lewis; The Midnight Retreat by Levon West; Valley Forge by George
Wright; Stemming the Retreat at Monmouth by Kerr Eby; Fraunces Tavern,
New York City, 1783 by Samuel Chamberlain; New York Welcomes a National
Hero, 1789 by Robert Lawson; The Levee by Walter Tittle; Colonial Home
Live by Arthur William Heintzelman; Conquering the Wilderness by Robert
Nisbet; Fort Le Boeuf by Sears Gallagher; A Virginia Garden by William
Auerbach-Levy; The First American Army by Ralph Boyer; The Surrender by
F. Louis Mora; Preventing A Military Dictatorship by Albert Sterner;
Farming at Mount Vernon by Louis Conrad Rosenberg; and The
Constitutional Convention, 1787 by John W. Winkler. Each etching is a
SIGNED original inspected and approved by John Taylor Arms. Included is
a folio four-page letterpress pamphlet printed in red and black giving
biographical information about the artists as well as a six-page typed
explanation of the plates. Heavy foxing to the margins of the Mora
etching; very mild foxing to the margins of one or two others. Otherwise
