Rear-Admiral Sir Horatio Nelson, K. B... With a Description of the
Battle of the Nile on the First of August 1798, and a Detail of Events
That Occurred Subsequent to the Battle in Various Parts of the
Mediterranean. London: Printed by T. Bensley for J. White. 1802. Lg.
4to. xxiv,310pp. Illustrated with 43 copper engraved sepia aquatint
plates (including a double-page map and the dedication leaf with a
large coat-of-arms at top). Later calf spine with orig. red morocco
spine label (reading, "Willyams' Voyages"), over cont. marbled boards.
Oval rubber stamp dated 1884 at top blank margin of title page &
dedication leaf. Overall, a beautiful, clean copy.  $2,500.00 (trade

Willyams, a topographer and artist who also drew the illustrations,
