military costume plates (each with a tissue guard and facing page of
description), a colored folding map. 23 engraved views, numerous text
drawings and a title page vignette. Cont. gilt decorated calf over
marbled boards, rebacked, original backstrip (small chips at
extremities) laid back down. Occasional foxing of text & plates; one of
