6 parts, each separately collated and paginated; this is, in effect,
Volume 2 of the 2 volume OPERE DI GALILEO GALILEI, here with 6 parts,
where most Volume 2 were bound with only 5 parts. See below. Cont.
vellum, soiled, spine hand lettered. The spine is quite chipped,
missing about 1/3 of the vellum. There is no half-title as there should
be in Volume 2. Internally a beautiful, clean
text.   $4,500.00 (trade discount allowed)
This volume of the first collected works of Galileo (d. 1642) contains,
each with the above imprint, Bologna: HH Del Dozza. 1665:

are 3 parts that have their own title-pages; "DISCORSO DELLE COMETE DI
MARIO GUIDUCCI", "LETTERA AL... TARQUINIO GALLUZZI", and "LETTERA DEL
SIG. GALILEO GALILEI AL PADRE CHIRSTOFORO GRIENBERGER".
