Stopp, Klaus. THE PRINTED BIRTH AND BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATES OF THE
PENNSYLVANIA GERMANS.

Mainz; Published by the author: 1997.
Limited to 500 numbered sets.

The author made a dozen research trips to Pennsylvania over the period of
ten years to complete this comprehensive catalog of Pennsylvania German
printed birth and baptismal certificates (fraktur). He then had the entire
six volume study published, at his own expense, in East Berlin before the
Wall came down. I’m not sure how much more there is to say about this set.

Hardcover. 6 volumes. 11.5”x9.5”, 286 + 283 + 302 + 331 + 238 + 278 pages,
color and black & white illustrations. Minor wear. [35989] $850.00
