INSCRIBED to her and SIGNED by the author on the front endpaper: "For
Eleanor Roosevelt/with every good wish/and renewed admiration/from/James
Hilton/Oct. 1947." Hilton was the author also of LOST HORIZON and
GOODBYE, MR. CHIPS. Internally Near Fine; the rear cover has a large
dampstain that does not extend internally and there is light soiling to
the spine. About Very Good, lacking the dustwrapper. $850.00
