TITLE: “Chanel Boutique. Collection Printemps-ete 1995”

Issued in Paris by Chanel in 1995.

DISCUSSION: A noteworthy and famous Chanel catalog- their Spring
Collection, featuring Karl Lagerfeld designs and photographs, modeled by
Claudia Schiffer. Sporty designs to say the least- “Slender,
perfectly-fitted, cropped jackets were shown with corset-waist skirts,
which reveal a surprising slit when passing through a soft summer
breeze...As Karl Lagerfeld explained, ‘Why shouldn’t the stone not shine
when the sun is shining?’”.

Ignoring the double negative, what’s most startling is that the majority
of Lagerfeld’s carefully-placed sequins, shining in the sun, are adorning
Claudia’s underthings. Chanel, Lagerfeld & Claudia Schiffer combine to
make this an iconic fashion catalog.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 9”x12”, 48 pages, color and black & white
illustrations, with the loosely inserted English information sheet.

CONDITION NOTES: Minor wear, but overall clean and nice, with a tight
binding and no marks.

PRICE:: $125.00
