biography, this copy apparently lacking a frontispiece portrait of 
George Washington. Signature of Pliny Nye on the title page, a colonel 
in the army and a prominent Massachusetts abolitionist. Moderate foxing; 
binding rubbed but tight and intact. Good or better copy of this 
uncommon early American dictionary.         $75.00
