KENNEDY, John F. PROFILES IN COURAGE. New York: Harper & Brothers, 
(1956). Reprint. Kennedy's Pulitzer Prize-winning biography of various 
American politicians who put principles before self-interest. 
Illustrated with photographs. SIGNED and INSCRIBED by the author on the 
front endpaper: "To Rowena Eicher/--with every good wish--/John 
Kennedy." Rowena Eicher was the executive secretary to a major union 
president in the 1950s and 1960s. An affordable and genuine signed copy 
of PROFILES IN COURAGE, albeit not the first printing. Old dampstain to 
outer margin of textblock, not visible on any of the text pages only the 
top and bottom of the text block, the photographs, and slightly to the 
endpapers with no effect on the inscription. Very Good in a complete but 
only Fair dustwrapper with staining and wear.         $4,000.00
