Published in Le Mans by Librairie E. Lebrault in 1890.

DISCUSSION: A fascinating pictorial record of the marchers and floats in a
grand “Cavalcade Historique” parade in Le Mans on July 20th, 1890. From a
contingent of Gaulish soldiers to a Roman battalion, Charlemagne and his
aides, Crusaders, Charles V, Musketeers, Swiss Guards, and Lafayette, the
parade swept up through history in what must have been a truly imposing
spectacle.

DESCRIPTION: Softcover. 10”x6”, 1 pages of text plus 45 lithographed
plates, color designs on the front and rear covers.

CONDITION NOTES: Front cover upper corner chipped and stained, the stain
also on the corner of the title page. One inch crack in the lower front
cover hinge, tips a bit thumbed, light cover soil, the upper corner stain
extends along the fore edge, but does not bleed onto the plate faces
themselves, which are clean and nice.
