Mild damp staining along top edge of cover, more prominently on endpapers and half title page. Unmarked text, no ownership marks. B/W photos and maps. John Kagi was second in command to John Brown in Brown's failed raid on Harper's Ferry. At age 24, Kagi was killed during the raid. The author's mother was cousin to John Kagi, and this book relates family (Kagi, Kagey) history along with John Kagi's association with abolitionist John Brown. 137pp. Small 4to  9" - 11" tall. $60
