calf (early 20th century), antique style with blind tooled
compartments, gilt spine. A.e.g. Headline on 2 leaves slightly cut
into, otherwise a good sound copy. With the small leather bookplate of
Philadelphia collector Moncure Biddle (1882-1956).  $1,000.00 (trade

Translated by R. Bernard. This is the first English translation of
Terrence's comedies, in its "fourth edition". The first is 1598, second
1607, and no third edition is recorded. STC 23892.
