TITLE: “The Helen D. Ling Collection of Chinese Ceramics”

Edited by Jason C. Kuo. Published in College Park by The Art Gallery & the
University of Maryland Dept. of Art History in 1995.

DISCUSSION: Helen Dalling married Professor Ti-Gi Ling in 1926, and they
lived in Shanghai for the next several decades, and moved to Hong Kong in
1949. For much of this time, and after, Helen Ling was a dealer in Chinese
ceramics. This exhibition of her personal collection reveals the mind and
heart of a true connoisseur, and as one of the essayists notes, the
collection, though spanning several millennia, has a consistency and
coherence that is distinctly personal.

DESCRIPTION: Softcover. 8.5”x11”, 92 pages, color and black & white
illustrations.

CONDITION NOTES: Covers with some light scuffs and wear, but otherwise
clean and nice.

PRICE: $60.00
