vessel and text woodcuts. Orig. printed pink wrappers, reinforced
(repaired) with repair/tissue paper in a few places.  The "Great
Britain" was the largest vessel on the seas in 1845.

list of this voyage. The final leaf is the log and passenger list of
the second voyage of the "screw-steamer Oceanic" that crossed the
Atlantic in 8 days and 7 hours. Title & text within red ruled borders.
Woodcut vignette of the Atlantic on title page and front wrapper. Orig.
printed salmon wraps, lightly soiled, old tape repair at bottom
fore-corner.
