AN ALMOST COMPLETE RUN  OF THIS PIONEERING PERIODICAL With articles, bibliographies, &c, about American books, authors, booksellers, book collectors,  &c. Published by Chas. F. Heartman, bookseller, auctioneer, bibliographer, &c.

There was a hiatus from 1928 to 1933 in which publication was suspended.   

Subjects included C. P. Rollins, Franklin, the Sauer Bible, H. E. Huntington, Hawthorne, Poe, American signboards, early book auctions in Va., sea presses, the first Phila. Directory, Thos. Say, Dreiser, the Folger Library, Tom Paine, Stan Henkels, the New England Primer, Christopher Morley, Simms, Cooke, dime novels, Melville, Wm. Byrd as a book collector, Wilberforce Eames, American book labels, Twain, T. S. Eliot, &c, &c. 

Authors included Winship, R. G. Adams, J. Christian Bay, McMurtrie, Temple Scott, Geo. Goodspeed, LeGallienne, Wegelin, Mabbott, Geo. H. Sargent, Henry Stevens, Heartman himself, et al.

Approx. 60 issues, with 2 duplicates.

This may be one of the last available runs of this important periodical.
