(9" x 12") bound in a silvery gray cloth imported from the Netherlands 
and stamped in blind and blue; 96 pages. Introduction by Malcolm Cowley. 
Illustrated with photographs by Richard Benson printed in a tritone 
300-line screen process by Meriden Gravure Company and SIGNED by the 
photographer on the colophon page. Housed in a slipcase with a pictorial 
design that is also used for the endpapers of the book. Of a total 
edition of 2000 copies, this copy is one of a small number of 
presentation copies that has in place of a number the initials of the 
subscriber from whom we purchased this copy written in ink "E.R.." The 
colophon has the presentation blindstamp that usually accompanies 
lettered copies. This is also the ONLY copy we have seen that is SIGNED 
additionally by Malcolm Cowley on the colophon page. Monthly Letter laid
