INSCRIBED by the author for William Jarvis, Jr. "with the best regards
of his friend" and SIGNED I. I. Hayes in New York on 6 January 1867.
Armorial bookplate of Henry Payne McIntosh. Tear to marbled front
endpaper. Rubbing and darkening of covers. Very Good, clean copy and
