TITLE: “The Sportsman’s World”

Published in New York by Henry Holt in 1959.

DISCUSSION: A collection of pieces from ‘Field and Stream’, exploring
hunting & fishing opportunities in Africa, America, Britain and the
Caribbean. A book which is common as dirt, but with an excellent
presentation inscription by Robert Ruark, who in fact wrote the book's
Foreword and the first essay, "The Sportsman's Africa".

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 8.5”x11.5”, 272 pages, black & white and color
illustrations.

Inscribed- “For Gary Greenwood from his friend Bob Ruark with the hopes
that he’ll see all of these places some day-”.

Ruark inscriptions are very scarce.

CONDITION NOTES: Minor wear, but overall clean and nice, with a tight
binding.
