1996. Quarto (9" x 13"), bound in gray morocco-backed gray linen with a
three-dimensional relief of pebbles scraped from the icy rock surface of
the Eiger placed on a gray morocco inset on the front cover. Illustrated
with six photogravures produced from the author's original negatives.
Copy #123 of 300 numbered copies SIGNED on the colophon page by the
author who was one of a party of four who first climbed the North Face
of the Eiger in 1938. Fine in a clamshell box, as issued. (#013474)
