ELIOT, T. S. ASH WEDNESDAY. New York/London: Fountain Press/Faber & 
Faber, 1930. First Edition. Printed at the Curwen Press. Copy #388 of 
600 numbered copies SIGNED by the poet of one of the great religious 
poems of the modern era: "Teach us to care and not to care/Teach us to 
sit still." Precedes the ordinary edition by a few days. We have handled 
several copies of this title over the years, and this is one of the 
nicest. Nice, clean copy inside and out. Owner name of Paul D. Collins, 
dated March 1932, on the front endpaper. Gilt strong and clear. About 
Fine, lacking the cellophane wrapper but with the original plain 
cardboard slipcase which is darkened and lacking the top edge.
