388;382,(2)pp. Cont. tree calf (some rubbing & small gouges), nicely
rebacked, dark burgundy calf spine label. Occasional light foxing. A
presentation copy, inscribed by Dana ("The Editor") on the front free
endpaper, to Rev. Nathaniel Hewitt.	$650.00 (trade discount allowed)
Very scarce American journal. The editor, Dana (1797-1884), refers to
himself as "A Renouncing Mason." The recipient of this copy was a 
Storington, CT
minister who was born in 1788, and graduated from Yale in 1808.
