English fiction, a "Robinsonade," first printed in 1727. There are over
30 editions by 1800. The ESTC records the 1780 edition with only 1 U.S.
holding (Yale). The true authorship of this work, purported to be by an
E. Dorrington, has also been attributed to Alexander Bicknell.
