We will have this, along with a few signed books from HJ's library, with
us in our booth A-21 at the 52nd Annual New York Antiquarian Book Fair
at the Park Avenue Armory at 67th Street, April 12 - 15.

JAMES, Henry. DAISY MILLER. New York: Harper & Brothers, 1904. Beautiful
decorated green cloth with a pattern of colorful daisies spread across
the front cover. This attractive early reprint of one of James's best
known books is illustrated with a frontispiece and marginal drawings
throughout by Harry W. McVickar. SIGNED and INSCRIBED on the front free
endpaper: "After long years:/Henry James/November 9th 1909." Books
inscribed by James are quite uncommon, especially his more desirable
titles such as this one. Very minor rubbing along spine tips. Lovely
copy, hinges neatly repaired with the front pastedown professionally
replaced to cover a mark left by removing a bookplate. Near Fine and
scarce. (#011313) $3,500.00
