Thisdeluxe edition in full calf with the plates printed on silk is very uncommon.The original edition of 1841 had only 12 plates. William Pereira (1909-1985)was a Chicago architect noted for his futuristic designs, including thelandmark Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco.
