My Southern Home by William Wells Brown. Published in Boston by A. G. Brown & Co. 1880 (1880).  First Edition. 253 pages plus 2 pages of ads at the rear. Bound in green cloth stamped in gilt on cover and spine with light soil and with wear at the extremities. Lacking the free front endpaper. The rear endpapers are decorated with pencil sketches of children and eagles dated and signed 1882 by a child. A couple of the signatures are just beginning to pull, and the book is slightly cocked. Text block is clean and bright with neither marks nor repairs.

Spine has wear and fraying top and bottom. Spine slightly sloped. Some foxing to Frontispiece and prelims. A very good copy.
