College of the Holy Cross, in 1994.

DISCUSSION: The catalog to an exhibition of antique prints showing an
extraordinary set of buildings designed and erected for the Chinese
Emperor in the late 18th century by several Jesuit priests. The text also
discusses the design and history of the palaces, which burned to the
ground in the late 19th century. A most uncommon catalog.

DESCRIPTION: Softcover. 9”x7”, 59 pages, 20 black & white plates.

CONDITION NOTES: Minor soil, but otherwise clean and nice, with a tight
binding.
