Offered today, at a reduced price to the list, two books by Idah Meacham Strobridge:

These books are offered at $ 150 to the list, 20% trade discount applies.

Idah Strobridge, a native of California, was raised in Nevada, but moved to the Arroyo Seco in 1901 and where she worked as a writer and book binder, and was active in the intellectual and cultural life of Los Angeles, counting among her collagues Charles Fletcher Lummis.  These books contain an additional interest in the illustrated advertisements at the back, which document her Arroyo Seco establishment.
