Auguste Bry for Gilhaut Frères, [1870]. Nouvelle Edition. Oblong folio
(15-1/2" x 11") bound in contemporary pebbled brown cloth with gilt
lettering on the spine. Illustrated with a lithograph title page
featuring a map of Paris and 36 numbered tinted lithographs, 18 of which
have contemporary handcoloring, by Jacottet, Bachelier, and Benoist. In
addition there are 8 tinted lithographs, not numbered consecutively, by
A. Provost from PARIS ET SES ENVIRONS, thus giving a total of 44
lithographs in this volume. Plates generally clean except for one which
