TITLE: “The Honey Guide. 40 Days in Central Africa”

By Gene Worrell.
Published in Charlottesville by Worrell Newspapers in 1977.

DISCUSSION: Tales of hunting Big Game in the Central African Republic in
the 1970s. Gene Worrell was an American newspaper publisher whose first
rip to Africa is chronicled here, based partially on tape recordings he
made for his wife, just in case something really, really bad happened.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 7”x9.5”, 115 pages, color illustrations, dust jacket.

CONDITION NOTES: There is a little light wear to the dust jacket,but the
rest of the book is clean and nice. Inscribed by the author on the
endsheet- “To my friend [name blacked out] who won’t believe a word of
this –warm regards, Gene”.
