TITLE: “The International Dictionary of Women Workers in the Decorative
Arts. A Historical Survey from the Distant Past to the Early Decades of
the Twentieth Century”

By Alice Irma Prather-Moses.
Published by The Scarecrow Press in 1981.

DISCUSSION: My first thought about women workers in the decorative arts
goes to the Arts & Crafts Movement, where they were so important, and
those figures, both major and minor, are certainly all here. But this
study delves much further, back to the middle ages, and into silver,
textiles, ceramics and others crafts. An important, unique reference.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 5.5”x8.5”, 200 pages.

CONDITION NOTES: In fine, clean condition.

PRICE: $60.00
